I love their Taco Salad Im getting their Texan Burger tonight hear its very good

Great experience waitstaff was awesome found the catch.......Be prepared for taco Tuesday and see how they reel you in with the all u can eat tacos. Meaning meat seasoned not at all mexican more like camp fire chili. Cheese and toppings cost extra so save on the scrimps if cheese they give on your first plate. I will add picture to show you my dine in experience.

I took my mom here yesterday for breakfast.The service was slow...the waitress took forever to come back to our table.I waited forever to order a to go order.When home I realized the fruit was not with the order and the omlette was burnt.I called yesterday to let them know and was told I would receive a call back from a manager.No call back at all.I just called today to talk to a manager and she was very rude on the phone and made it seem like I was lying.She did not care and never even said she was sorry this happened.I told her I was never going to eat there again...she said nothing and hung up on me...What terrible customer servive...This place has really changed from years ago

We went before the dinner rush and there weren’t many cars in the lot and we were worried there wasn’t going to be good food. Was I wrong! The service was excellent and the food was amazing. They had a very wide variety of food options and everyone enjoyed their food. We talked a bit with the owner and she was really nice. Glad we decided to give it a try.

Extremely friendly service. Food is very good. Needs more seasoning and fresh herbs. Very clean atmosphere Definitely going back!

Food was delicious, better than expected for a hotel restaurant. The thai soup was spicy and a huge portion. Open late, too. The service was friendly and welcoming.

I have been here for breakfast and dinner both were very good. Price was ok and the coffee was hot. Very family type

Had food to go. My mashed potatoes had no gravy and the bread on my club sandwich was burnt. And not much Turkey. Should of took it back! And got my money back!

One of our favorite locally owned businesses. We go there strictly for breakfast though, so I can't comment on much else. Excellent omelettes, above average soups, and reasonably priced. I eat there at least twice a month.

My friend had his 5th Year anniversary with his wife at this location it was awesome so much room very very special place. Staff was friendly too. Had a great time. #Midwestgoldclub

Went for the fish fry last night and was not disappointed. Fresh fish lightly battered fried hot and fresh. Delicious homemade seafood chowder with fresh rolls to start it off. Good tasty food at a good tasty price. They also have happy hour and a full bar. Desert for only $.99 add on to dinner is great also.

First the server was amazing. Truly amazing!! She was so quick. She was so kind. The place is very clean smells wonderful lots of space. Very good food as well nice and hot delicious!!!!

We got here and they only order 2 of our drinks when there was 5 of us. They took forever to get our drinks. We finally ordered our waiter gloria said huh huh huh and then she got it finally then we waited a hour and they're food was good that's the only reason we gave it a 1.

I don't know what happened with Spring Gardens Restaurant. I don't know if they changed ownership or what because the sign reads "Welcome To The New Spring Gardens Restaurant". We use to go to Spring Gardens Restaurant all the Time. We stopped in there Today. Their Meatloaf recipe tastes different then it use to. It is not as good. When we arrived there, there was only 3 customers there. There was just two of us there. It still took the Waitress almost 30 Minutes to come take our order. Then it took almost 1 Hour for our order to come. This was while the restaurant was empty except for the two of us. Then we had to wait & wait for the Waitress to come back. The Waitress over charged us on the bill. Prior to her taking our order, we overheard another customer talking to the Waitress about her overcharging him on his bill. I hope that the service gets better because we really liked going to Spring Gardens Restaurant

Air conditioning wasn't working. Service was fair. Food was good.

Wow! Wish I could give minus stars. The service is piss poor and the manager isn't even brave enough to even apologize for it. Not to mention the food looked like pigslop on a plate. If you enjoy your waiter ignoring you and serving food to the table to make others sitting there watch...this is the place for you. There is a reason why there's no waiting and the parking lot is empty.

Good service, good food , I had the stuffed tomato it came with fruit on the side and cottage cheese. The fruit side was more like a fruit basket lol !!! Um like it was a lot of fruit😂

They have delicious omelets, my kids enjoy thre food here and service.

Came for lunch and left completely unsatisfied. The meatloaf that we ordered was mush, the gryo meat was overcooked anf we were given tarter sauce with it. The shrimp was over cooked and rubbery. The nats and flys were falling on our table throughout the time we were there. Our waitress had no personality and never came to check on us at all. To spend 40 dollars on food that wasnt good and terrible service will cause us to never return. Do not recommend at all!

Food was good especially the handmade burger patty, the only reason for 4 stars is the chicken dumpling soup was salty and canned mushrooms on my burger instead of fresh, but awesome waitstaff and owner or manager who personally came to the table made the whole visit fantastic!!!!

If you are looking for a variety of different food this is the place to go .My husband and I Love it here the waitresses are very nice and the owner is very very nice she makes sure to go around and see how everyone and everything is going she also makes you feel very welcoming . We would definitely recommend this place . They have a room you can rent out for Gatherings. O and don't let me forget the food here is GREAT ! I am a very picky eater and I haven't had an issue since we have been going here .

Adequate food, very poor service. Server took forever to check in, long time to order. Had a poor attitude entire time. Would not recommend. Food was okay, not a place I would come back too.

I felt really disrespected by the bartenders. They were rude to their customers including myself. One of the bartenders was serving herself drinks and disregarded my order. I do not recommend this place at all.

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants . The food is good . They always have it ready . When they say it will be . They make the dishes exactly as ordered . Plus , the fried rice is delicious. They never use dirty oil . That’s the one thing that turns me off .

Good breakfast, good value, great service. Pancakes we're just a little tough for my taste.

Their breakfast skillets are always hot, fast and delicious. Not to mention priced reasonably. The service is always great.

This use to be one of my favorite restaurants. The lady did not know my name,but she always addressed me and my family. The food was good n service was great. Its obvious that this Layton location has new management, service has really declined, the food isn't as good and there was like a dirty fog lingering around. I order my food n even though they did not have the complete meal, i was offered no substitution. She just stood there looking at me. I took a friend there n was embarrassed to have recommend this place. So after bout 15years i have no plans on returning. One star as i hate what this restaurant has become.

Not great. Pretty average food overall, and we still had food on the table and weren't ready to leave and we were handed our bill early and basically didn't see our server after that. Other than that the service was good but the food could have been better

This place has gone through some changes but the food stays amazing!

Waitress was nice. Food took forever to come out of the kitchen. Staff was loudly speaking and complaining. And even though the menu we had and their website states that they offer one free refill they wanted to charge for refills until we pointed this out.

It's a nice restaurant and bar. There's a little something for everyone.

Went to a funeral lunch there. Waited over an hour just to get a bread basket. We had a choice of soup or salad, 1 of 3 entrees, a side starch and dessert. She took orders about 30 minutes after the bread. When the food came it was lukewarm except for the potatoe wedges. I know they were expecting us so I'm unsure as to why these things happened. I was there for over 3 hours and didn't wait for dessert.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere! try the restaurant on Layton Ave. only a few blocks west of Loomis rd. The owners are very friendly and also the staff are very helpful.

Stayed at the connected hotel which was nicer than we expected and came in around 11 for breakfast. Waited for 30-35 minutes on food that should have not taken more than 10. The restaurant was empty and our waitress who I believe was also the manager/shift leader came with no explanation of why it took so long. A friend and I both got sides of fruit that came in different sizes, has to ask for refills on water. The food was okay but the service was awful.

Staff was friendly but seem to lack experience. Food was great but appetizer was brought out with the food, no cocktail sauce for the shrimp, yet when she made some it was awesome. Had to ask for more drinks no follow through.

A great breakfast spot!

Came here after seeing slightly higher than mid ratings, figured to give it a chance since I live nearby... seems this was a bad choice. Everything was ok until the food was ready to be delivered to the table. I had ordered the meat lovers skillet with american fries and my wife ordered the chocolate chip pancakes. I watched our food sit on the ledge while a table was sat, orders taken and silverware was rolled by our server. When we got the food... the chocolate chip pancakes had a greasy taste. Worst of all is my order... I recieved hashbrowns instead of fries (wasnt told they were out of fries), the toast was cold from sitting, and the skillet had no flavor at all... I should have gone to golden coral instead... or even McDonald's. 0/10 will return

This restaurant is really awesome! I go here all the time. REALLY good breakfast and it's noticably cheaper than Denny's or Webb's or Omega. Lun wantch and supper too. This was the eatery when the hotel was a Howard Johnson. Now it's a Travelodge and is also THE best deal on a hotel in the whole city! And as always it's an excellent place to bring Lisa Pipp, my longtime girlfriend who I most assuredly own like property. Be sure to buy stuff in the really cool vending machines placed conveniently around the hotel hallways. Really one of THE best places to go in the entire city!!!!
